Ilford HP5+ 11X14 shortage?

Both B&H and Adorama are backordered on 11X14 HP5+.

I know B&H has been for about a month and counting. They are my usual supplier. Sukkot was not the problem.

Discovered today Adorama is alo backordered, can't say how long.

Freestyle has some, but it's significantly more with shipping.

Is there a problem with Ilford production?

Perhaps more sheet film is being cut and sold/ Demand higher?

I think Simon is the answer man? I don't know him.

Simon Galley retired from Harman with the Pemberstone Ventures buyout last year.

4x5/25, 4x5/100. 5x7 and 8x10 HP5 Plus are all showing in stock at B&H. 11x14 is cataloged by Harman as non-stock, so a retailer wishing to re-stock may have to wait a few weeks for a special cut.
