Ilford have opened a B&W/C-41 and E6 film processing and printing lab in California. From what the site says it includes sheet film in 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10.

Might give an alternative to some who don't have darkroom access. Depending on how well they do it may give some a good comparison of print quality by ordering a print from them and then doing it in your own darkroom and seeing if you measure up?

8$ for a sheet of 8x10 C-41/E-6 is very competitive. Is there any way of knowing if this is really a completely new facility or just a "storefront" for an existing lab? In either case, this is good news.

I wonder if there is a partnership with Swan, that I think is in San Clemente also???

It's been open for 3 years now (http://www.ilfordphoto.com/pressroom/article.asp?n=171) so it's not new and it's no secret that the address is the same as Swan. Photo Lab.

Was just sent a link to it and the blurb made it sound as if it was a new deal.

Nonetheless, thanks for the heads up. After doing some testing....I may use them when I'm in SW again.
