I just recently got an old Wista 45D in relatively great shape for a bargain but it has a light leak at the bottom (see the photographs). I tightened the screws and placed felt there so there's less light leaking in but it's not 100%. Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Make sure the latches are actually locking properly. The levers that hold the bellows in place should be turned as far as they will go. There shouldn't be any felt where you've placed it.

The levers are good. There's room for the felt where I placed them and has blocked probably half of the light. Some light is actually leaking from below the plate the screws are attached to which makes me believe the camera was dropped at some point in its life. My immediate solution is to simply use gaffers tape to tape over the areas. I may try using thicker felt because the space will allow for it.

FWIW, I believe that the foam ring on the inside of the rotating back is supposed to press against the back of the bellows frame. If this seals properly, it shouldn't matter whether light gets in through the gaps opposite the bellows clips as indicated in your photo. I can imagine the seal failing due to deterioration in the foam, or because the frame is bent, etc.
