Hi all,

Lomig Perrotin of the smallest film company in the world:

www.filmwashi.com

is able to offer whole plate (8 1/2 x 6 1/2 inch) format paper negative.

Some of you might be familiar with Nicole Caldwell's work on Washi film negative in roll format:

Lomig's informed me that it's possible to cut any large format sheet size up to the 250mm x 200mm scaling on the master sheet. For whole plate format, this works out as 24 sheets for 170 Euro & postal carriage costs.

Just thought I'd add this option to whole plate format photographers since there are few in between Ilford ULF film options. The textural detailing of the whole plate Washi size makes an interesting alternative process to experiment with.

Kind regards,

RJ

...and just to add:

4-6 week delay for special order sizes!

Emulsion and paper contraction also affect loading and unloading tolerances in the film holders so please supply detailed measurements rather than 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches...

Looking forward to getting this for trialling this autumn!

Kind regards

RJ
