Will a 150mm rodagon or schneider componon-s cover 5x7 for enlarging purposes?

I don't know the answer to your question. I went and looked at an Omega 5x7 enlarger today that a couple of brothers, who are retiring have for sale. It is missing parts but the lens was in it, I think it is 180mm. If you are interested in just the lens I could get their phone number or see them next week when they have their "garage" sale. I'm not going to buy it because it is missing parts and I don't know enough about it.

180mm is usually the shortest focal length recommended for 5x7, but a 150 might work if you are making prints at very modest enlargement ratios (hence long bellows extension). I've made small enlargements (less than 2x) from 4x5 with a 105mm enlarging lens, even though 135 is the shortest lens normally recommended.

When I was setting up my darkroom, I accumulated lenses...

So I have 135, 150, 180 and 210mm Rodagons. The 180mm is the shortest one which covers 5x7" evenly, even at very little enlargement. Since the 210mm has much) larger threads, I now use the 180mm for everything larger than 9x12cm film where I sometimes use the 135mm.
