Going on the article, he used a Toyo Field 8x10" camera.

Many thanks for the link, I had no idea this was/is currently on in my backyard. Well across the other side of town, but easy peasy to get to.

I have visited pretty much every place mentioned in the article, be interesting to see his take on it; it will certainly be different from mine.

I'll try and get to it.
