To any LF-ers based in Ireland or visiting Ireland, you're welcome to the opening of my exhibition "Project1916" at the "Main Guard", Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Fri 26th August at 7pm. Exhibition runs for a month so if you can't make the opening you may have the opportunity to see it some other time.

The project is a series of portraits of descendants of those who volunteered for service during the Easter Rising of 1916, there's also some multimedia content.

Cheers

D

Nice coverage of the project in the Irish Times, one of our broadsheets:

Congratulations! Wonderful work. I wish I could see the prints in person, but thank you for linking to the newspaper webpage.

My brother will be in Ireland next month but that'll be too late. All the best, Dimento!

that's a shame Andrew, it will be shown elsewhere later in the year but i don't know where or when yet. I have an exhibition of different work in Bandon, Co. Cork on the last weekend in September- don't know if he'll be around for that. that's a very short-lived one, will be shown for only 4 days or so.
