Steven Tribe is Danish, knows everything about LF cameras, and is online now. If he is not on when you check, send him a PM.

I have been found and contacted!
PS. I am very British, although resident in Denmark.

You must be joking or is this tongue in cheek!
".. odd LF camera gear.." - well, its standard British and continental design. That's why the camera was named "Albion"!

About accent - think Grammar School and UK Universities in the 60's and 70's. Approximates to standard BBC english before regional accents became a plus!
About the problem. The type is obvious - the Albion needs 1/1 plate holders from the explosive growth period of 1890 - WW1. But makes have slightly different sizes, usually only mm differences in width. It's best to buy a set of 3 plus and make the necessary modifications to have a complete set ready for 6 plus exposures.
