Sally Mann in Memphis

I just learned that Sally will be speaking at the Memphis College of Art One Monday May 9, 2016 7pm at Rust Hall. I hope to be be there.

Don't miss this! I heard her speak in New Orleans a few years ago and she was very forthright about her influences, her fears, her anxieties, her desires, etc. Sometimes we see these people as rockstars because they have gallery representation and books and speaking engagements but, at least in her case, she was very humble, open and down-to-earth. Plus she has a lovely, poetic way of speaking. Very entertaining and enlightening.
