I was searching for a hood for my 90mm Angulon (40.5mm) and got overwhelmed with the selection on ebay. Any suggestions of what to look for? would any that says "wide angle" work fine?

I started with a search for 40.5 wide angle lens hood. With all the different ones that popped up, it's really kind of a crapshoot, but what I'd do is pick one of the ones that has a steep (wider) funnel with thinner straight section at the end, the kind that says "For-Sony-A6000-E-PZ-16-50mm-Lens-canon-nikon". That way, it's wide to start, and if you need wider, you can always saw off the parallel front end and just keep the funnel part.

I did exactly that for my Nikon 20mm (saw it off), and since a 90mm on 4x5 is about equal to 28mm on 35, I bet that one would be OK as-is, if you didn't use movements. If you need the movements, then saw it off.

They're only four bucks, so it's not a big deal, right?

Exactly and I want it for my Travelwide so I won't need anything that would prevent movements. I'll look for one with a wider funnel. Thank you!
