Does anyone know if Toyo (or someone) makes a lens board for an45G adapted to hold a 4"x4" lens board? I would love to be able to switch between my Burke & James press to the Toyo without remounting my lenses all the time. Too many chances for dust and/or damage making the changes from one board to the other and I don't have the budget to double up on my lenses.

Thanks.

Toyo made/makes adapters for Linhof Technika-type, Graphic and Toyo Field lens boards. Perhaps you can get an adapter for your B&J camera to take one of these boards. Or you'll have to make the 4x4 adapter yourself.

Not sure of the size of the 45G ... The VX125 uses a very large lens board (~158mm). There are adapters to take it down to a Canham lens board (4"x4"). I believe I also saw an adapter to take it down to a roughly similar sized lens board which was not compatible with Canham.

Probably the adapter taking the Toyo down to a roughly Canham sized board was to a Graflex. See ebay item 151957679355.

I have the adapter from Toyo to Canham (probably actually to a Toyo 45A which is very similar to a Canham).

There are also Sinar/Horseman (5.5x5.5") to Toyo field (110x110mm) adapters on eBay.
