Between the stroller being self-propelled, heated, and having many other electronic doodads what could go wrong? Ok maybe for a camera, but I don't think I'll be putting a child in one.

Looks like you're right about that. Its production timeline is on its website and it's now in the "alpha prototype design review" stage. Shipping the self propelled version isn't expected to happen until Ap., 2017. And its price tag is around $20,000.00!

Had the same thought the first time i saw someone go by me in Boston on one of those hoverboard things but never looked into it. Found out later they have the bad habit of exploding, Glad I don't have to explain to my wife how my Wisner caught on fire.

Creepy or not hypothetically if you're trudging thru the woods to get a shot my choice
would be BD's Spot. All terrain compared to a stroller.

And to those that believe Spot or any other ambulatory device would attack one day,
just remember Skynet (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skynet_(Terminator)) must become self aware before that can happen.
