There's an aluminium War Department Dallmeyer 2B for sale July 2015 (sold now) with an Iris added later by TT&H Feb 3 1919, how common is it that an Iris is fitted later ? I've just seen a brass Petzval for sale with one as well, in both cases it uses the slot for Waterhouse stops for the adjustment.
