Hello my name is Andre Matos and I'm from Brazil.

I bought a Voigtländer Braunschweig Bergheil 9x12

But it came with a lens that seems rare, a Heliar 13.5 cm F3.5, the Internet only found the 10.5cm F3.5 or 13.5cm F4.5 , you tell me anything about this model 13,5cm F3.5 ? It is on a Compur shutter.

Thanks in advance,

Hugs,

Andre

not that rare...

"About 1925, Voigtlander decided to tweak the Dynar design and created an f/3.5 lens with 50 degrees of coverage. This time, Voigtlander decided to go back to calling it a Heliar rather than continuing with the less popular "Dynar" name. "

It was the expensive version of the model called 3654 made from March 1928 to 1936.

Called model 3654/4. There should be letter somewhere on the camera showing production year. 1929 is A, 1930 is B ...... and 1936 is H.

The serial number on the Compur shutter may give an idea of the date as well.

Thankyou gandolfi, Steven Tribe and choiliefan,

Here some pictures of lens and camera

Can give me an idea of the value of the lens or camera complete with lens, apparently everything is working, my idea, since it is of bayonet, improvise an adapter and use in digital camera with the help of a bellows, or even adapt a the plates to use a Sony A7 like a digital back.

Thanks

Do you have any holders with it? If so, you may want to buy some film and give it a try. That lens will be lovely on digital of course, but even better on a broad sheet of film, and that is a lovely camera.

If you don't have a source of 9x12cm film in Brasil, send me a PM/email and I'll send you a Christmas present.

Wow! Thank you friend, probably will not find in Brazil.

I asked in some groups, said it is possible to reveal, but no one indicated a store to purchase and in my research I have not found anything yet. I accept and am very happy with your present. Will send a private message.

Best Regards,

Andre
