I recently bought a Rodenstock Rodagon 150mm enlarging lens for my Beseler 45M, however, it came without a retaining ring. I think the size is 50mm. Does anyone know of any supply sources to get a retaining ring of this size? I've checked on eBay but haven't had much luck.

B&H and KHB Photografix can supply enlarger lensboards and retaining rings. KHB is in Canada, so possibly may be less expensive or less hassle for you. I believe that threaded lensboards are available for some mount sizes for Beseler enlargers, so you may be able to get away without a separate retaining ring.

You can also make a lens board from the right thickness of plywood and cut a hole just large enough for the lens to thread into the wood... no ring needed. If done properly, it's aligned as well as any metal board with retaining ring and it costs practically nothing.

Thanks for the responses. KHB Photographix has exactly what I'm looking for, however, they are out of stock at the moment so will have to wait for a bit.

KHB has a 50mm flange for 35 bucks US, plus shipping listed on ebay right now, they also have the threaded board for around 50 usd.

Been there done this! You can use Masonite with some little metal tabs too. Ivery got a friend that use corrugated cardboard, he's a cheapskate!
