A friend of mine do some full length portrait, mostly women nudes. Actually in 4x5 but he is doing a 8x10 theses days.
I downgrade my regular lenses and don't have anything very interesting, all I have to offer him is some enlarger and copy lenses. But I think he can get interesting results as he like also to use alternative processes of printing.
He pickup already my Rodagon 360mm 6.8 (this one (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?125388)) Is the lens will cover 8x10? Anyone use it for portrait?
I found also a 9" f5.6 Ilex Copy Paragon, a big 3"x3" straight barrel lens. Anyone have experience with that lens, will it cover 4x5? At least for portrait? I don't have the flange for that lens, 72mm is too small, look like 75, any insight for that flange?
It can be interesting to hear from someone who use theses types of lenses for shooting instead of enlarging.
