How well does Velvia 100 film work with strobes?
The nice thing about the now discontinued films balanced for incandescent light, is that they had a terrific, warmer color palette when taken with incandescent lights, whereas daylight balanced film taken with daylight collected light appeared to have a cooler palette.
I'm anticipating taking closeup photos of fishing flies, where the extra saturation of Velvia could be useful. I would scan the film using a profile made from a the excellent 540 patch 6x9 Velvia target provided by Hutchcolor.
