Hi Folks

I was wondering if I could get some help?
We are in the market to acquire a mid-top range scanner,
A Imacon Flextight Precision Two is available at a good rate, I understand we would need to do a software upgrade to match the newest version?
Does anyone use this paticular model? and what do you think about its performance?
Is this scanner with up grade comprable in quality of scan to the newest Imacon?
Any help would be appreciated
Bob

It can be upgraded to a Precision III (which is not really the latest incarnation).

You can always download the latest version of FlexColor from Imacon (v3.9.4). You will have to register with the serial number of the scanner.

Also they are giving away FlexTouch dust and scratch remover.

I have an Imacon Photo scanner which is very good. I also use it to scan 4x5 in two passes then stitch. Not a perfect solution but it works fairly well.
