She and her husband were among my favorite artists, as much as something like that can be said. They produced such an amazing and rigorous body of work and had a huge impact on me. Definitely moreso than anyone else working with photography. Their legacy and that of the Dusseldorf school wherein they helped shape so many others lives on.

She inspired an entire generation, including me.

I am sad to see her passing away as I liked her work which was very innovative some 60 years ago. She inspired quiet a few photographers and deserves a place in the photographic hall of fame. Along with the other Neue Sachlichkeits photographers like Albert Renger-Patzsch.
