Zone VI Enlarging Timer Repair

I have the variable contrast Zone VI 4x5 Enlarger. My Zone VI enlarger timer has been steadily slowing down and wanted to know if anyone may know if anyone still services this component? I realize the company is out of business.

"slowing down". What does this mean? This is a compensating timer, correct? So it has a photo diode at the light source as a monitor. Have you checked that to see if there is a spider living in there casting a shadow on sensor? Are your exposures correct and they just take longer? This would be the light source getting dimmer.

If this is the electronic timer, I believe (from memory) that there is an adjustment control on the top of the timer (maybe red) that adjusts the spacing of the timer slower to faster. Take a look.
