Although your price is better, AFAIK Fuji still makes these and can be bought new.

Fuji makes a holder for the smaller pack film? I knew they made the PA45 which is useless now that the film is gone.

It is no longer listed on any official Fuji site (english or otherwise), though the LONG not made PA45 is listed on many of them (even BH).
Is it any thinner than the existing backs? I have a hard time getting the darn thing in and out of some cameras without bouncing the camera all around. I would pay $$ for thinner...

With some elaborate modifying an spectra or SX70 back can be added to a 4X5 camera, the problem is it will be hard to focus without a special focus screen modification as well because these have to be set back quite a bit.

Polaroid actually made a back called a CB-70 for this purpose.
I used to own two and modified one for my 4x5, and the other I modified for my Mamiya RZ67.
They worked great but I wasn't much into Polaroid film and I saw both of them.
People often use them for the Polaroid 600 / Mamiya Universal (might have those backward) cameras.

And if I'm wrong about the PA-145 being still in production my apologies but lots of stuff is still sold in Japan that they won't export, it's kind of frustrating, and there's a lot of misinformation.
Like Velvia50 in 4x5 and 8x10 is still made.
So is Velvia100F as well as various 220 rolls in all the Fuji flavors.
Anyway if this back is thinner than the PA-145 then that's a benefit to many with tight backs. I've never had an issue with my Toyo45a or the Chamonix backs, but I know some are really tight so if yours is thinner then that is great (plus the price seems reasonable).

Thanks for this information, that's helpful. I have an old Petzval lens and have used my PA45 to check exposure as expensive as that sounds. I really like the idea of a smaller holder since the current packfilm is cheap and available (in color at least) and definitely like the idea of continuing with the smaller film and saving my stash of FP10045 for something else.
I just found today there is a LARGE stock of FP100b in the US, for 17$ including shipping... (listed on the auction site), dates are just now expired, but considering i shoot late 90's and early 2000's 100b materials and have a blast with it, i have no doubt this stuff is not only still good but will last a while if anyone wanted to stock up...

It is a common price, but as this is discontinued, most retailers do not carry it, and when they do there its at a premium.
I guess the more interesting part here is that it is available...

Well, final stretch goal is at 10K... :)
If someone would care to share specs of how much clearance is needed, i would be more then happy to look into it.

Closer and closer to final stretch goal of $10000, only a few days left.
going into the last 24 hour stretch, there has been great support in the past couple of days, and we have passed the final stretch goal, which means every holder will come with a neat soft "lens wrap" type cover.

The last thing posted on KS is some have shipped.
Does not say mission accomplished.
If the KS was completed and everything was shipped, and I was considering a second project by this group, I would like to know this first KS was completely successful.
Is that wrong to ask?
This is the third KS project of this "group", so you should have had a good indication already.

I see that the first batch shipped on November 10th. Unless USPS has gotten really slow that means that someone should have one in their hands by now. Was just wondering what people thought...since it's been quiet on here....
