Does anyone know where I can take or send in my Linhof Color 4x5 for a bellows replacement? I liquid electrical taped any pinholes that were in the bellows and it's working fine now but would like to get new bellows just for the peace of mind.

If anyone knows of a repair shop that could replace bellows in SoCal let me know! I'm horrible at fixing things...

Precision Camera in Niles, IL but those bellows have not been available from Linhof for decades so he would probably have to use a Technika bellows.

You now have a bellows that works.
Live with it.

There you go. A brand new bellows that certainly cost you less than what you paid for the whole camera. I'm sure we can point you towards the replacement directions. Not me. I'm not sympathetic. Any fool could to it.

Jac@stafford.net if you want the camera back just PM me your address again and I'll mail it back to you.

I was just looking to replace the bellows because I want to go photograph some fields out in the desert in color and while I could drape a cloth over the bellows I'd rather see if I could find a replacement bellows before taking the camera to a bunch of places. For b/w I don't care since I develop it myself but for color its annoying because the lab I go to is 1.5hrs away

axs810,

And I can tell you from recent experience with Bob Watkins at Precision Camera that he does careful and excellent work. He did CLA and some other work on my two Mamiya 7ii backs and 4 lenses, and also replaced the bellows and other work on my Linhof Master Technika 4x5. In the US, we are lucky to have him as a resource to rely on for repairs to our film cameras. ...

Bob Watkins does great work, quickly, and for a reasonable amount.

That's why I have two. I bought a second that had new bellows for $219.00 I don't think there's a better field camera. Blows my old Toyo 45A out the window in convenience and movements.

contact Rudy ecbuyonline@foxmail.com hi is in Hong Kong, his bellows are really good, specially for monorails. i installed 20+ of hiss bellows so far and only one time i had a small problem that he rectified instantly sending me new bellows. materials that he uses are really good. i am just ordering one bellows for Linhof Color master 8x10 and one for horseman FA... good luck
PS yes color is one of better cameras out there :)

I wanted to try Rudy's bellows but I am the absolute worst when it comes to installation or fixing things. I usually have to have someone else do it to have it done right.

Wait there is an 8x10 version of the Linhof Color? 0_0 ...do you want to sell yours? ;)
