weight of 8X10 wooden film holder

Can someone confirm the weight of an older wooden 8X10 film holder?
Can anyone confirm the weight of a Chamonix 8X10 holder (the site does not have that info)?

I've no scale, so....uhhhh...lighter than the plastics :o

Several types of wooden holders that I have. One is an Eastman 8x10 which is 15 oz. Another is an Eastman 8x10 which is 1 lb 3 oz. An unmarked holder is 1 lb 1oz. And an Agfa Ansco that is 1 lb 6 oz. The three heavier holders have aluminum ends where the darkside slides in.

I used my postage scale to weigh a couple holders. A wooden Ansco weighed 1 lb 1 ounce verses a plastic Lisco at 1 lb 5.5 ounces.

My Ansco also has aluminum ends but for some reason is lighter than DannL's Ansco. I guess it's going to vary with different wooden holders but from what I hear the wooden ones are usually a little lighter.

Not only lighter, but also last longer and are less prone to warping. I do not use plastic ones anymore.

I was told by Hugo that the Chamonix 8x10 holder weighs 550 grams, about 1.3 pounds.

Plastic-1lb 5.5oz
Chamonix-1lb 4.8oz
Wooden body with metal pull tap-1lb 1oz
Wooden body with metal top bar and pull tap-1lb 3.2oz

All holders have films in them.
