I purchased the Monaco OptixXR to calibrate my monitor. It's a standard type of color management system that comes with the colorimeter (puck) and corresponding software. When I try to use it, it gives me an error message that my graphics card doesn't support an LUT (Look Up Table).

I have the NVIDIA 64mb-DDR GEForce TI4200 graphics card w/TV Out that runs on an Intel Pentium IV based computer with a CRT non-digital monitor. (Dell.)

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, how can it be solved? Will a different driver work? Or a different card? (Ouch.) If I need to get a different card, what's recommended?

I admit that a MacIntosh would have been a better choice for graphics based applications, but I'm too heavily invested in Intel based software.

I'd suggest callint tech support at Monaco to see what they have to say, Neil.

Assuming you have the latest drivers from Nvidia?
