Just finished printing. New project, "Numbers." 17x22 paper, five of each. There are sixteen images total but it starts off with this one, Number 12.

Here are the first four:

132445 132446 132447 132448

Comments welcome, of course.

Wild! I like 13 for just a touch of jumping cholla and 14 because it leaves me guessing.

Nature trail markers for a new short walk in the middle of Joshua Tree. Glad you (and Bill) like them.

I like the mood and presentation, but I'm afraid the series as a whole doesn't hold my attention. My feel is that the photographs should either have more formal sameness, or less. As they are, they are not really a typography, and not really a set of independently-interesting observations.

I've probably posted this before, but it's a nice example of how a constant formal structure can tie a collection together. (The video is fun too :-)

I'm still left wondering what happened in 2... did someone burn down the exhibit?

That was just some tourist standing there, using his iPad for a camera. Spontaneous combustion. Boom!

Flash nearly blinded me. It happens!

Good idea of the set.
Love the 13th shot, the mood of mystery you've created

Thanks. This is one of the few projects where I had no plan to make the project until it sort of just happened. I've long ago given up the "wandering hunter" mode that many photographers operate by....but sometimes an opportunity just sort of presents itself!
