Linhof Master Kardan TL question -

Is the bottom rail of a Linhof Master Kardan TL camera the same as the Acra standard? Can you mount the rail to a tripod with a quick release clamp that takes Acra rails, or is a special Linhof clamp needed?

No, it is a Linhof profile. You can get a Linhof head that it will slide into and lock at any desired point along the rail by just a lever lock. Much more useful with an Arca head which will require a plate the will screw into one point of your choice along the base of the rail but then you will not have the sliding feature.
