Does anyone know the rear thread size of the 8 1/4 inch (210mm) Goerz Red Dot Artar ?

I was unable to find it in the 1951 catalog provided by Camera Eccentric (http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/goerz_3.html)

Thanks !

Do you mean the thread on the rear cell that screws in to the shutter or the thread at the other end of the rear cell that one might screw in a threaded lens cap or filter?

For a barrel-mounted specimen, I'm looking for the width of the rear end of the barrel.

If I can't purchase one in an older shutter, I'd consider front-mounting into an older shutter, like my 10 3/4 inch Artar shown below.

I have some mid-late 1960's Goerz literature. I'll look there to see if it says anything. Probably not until later in the day though.

I have one Goerz Optical Co., Inc brochure on the barrel mounted Red Dot Artars dated 1967 and two Schneider Corp. of America brochures on these lenses, one dated 1974 and one undated. These all give several dimensions for the barrel mounts but unfortunately the diameter (and the pitch) of the mounting thread isn't one of them.
