Let's see if I can post this correctly. Just noticed this. Might be of interest to some large format people.

Maybe they can get Harrison Ford to play Clyde.

Wilford Brimley maybe...

May as well try for Monty Wooley or Gabby Hayes.

As long as it doesn't involve airplanes.

I'm in.

Why not?

Maybe because Harrison Ford crashed his WW2 vintage plane yesterday, he's gonna be ok.

Guys,

This is a biographical documentary. Maybe we can keep the comments relevant even though the "silly" posts keep bumping the thread.

The best person to play Clyde is Clyde.

The first few seconds of the kickstarter video were so annoying that I just could not keep watching the kickstarter video. And if the kickstarter video is that bad I can't think the documentary would be much better.

The first part was a bit nerdy, but it did get better.

There's an excellent print biography of Clyde called Seeing the Light. I don't know why anyone would want to make a video.

Personally, I think it would be extremely interesting to see Clyde in a video out in the swamp and how he handles large format in such an environment. Plus, I am a fan.

I am quite curious about all of the details of how Butcher makes and handles such large prints. But it seems to me that a such a video could made for about $50.00.

There are lots of his videos that show that, already.
But I guess that he's getting old, and he's 'way too fat. Maybe it WOULD be a good time for a video for posterity.
