I like it in Rodinal 1+25.

I've used my usual with good results - PMK. Three things, however - it develops quite rapidly compared to other films. Be prepared for that. And it's nowhere near
200 in actual speed, and has horrible reciprocity characteristics at long exposure.

I have not used it in 8x10 but in 120 I use OBSIDIAN AQUA, 12 minutes @20 deg. Celsius. Agitate for first 60 seconds then 4 times every 2 minutes leaving it for the last 3 minutes with no agitation. Stop Bath is tap water. Fixed in ILFORD Rapid Fixer 1+4 dilution. Washed as per ILFORD regime for saving water. Two drops of Mirasol (dip the thermometer in and let two drops drip off into the last rinse). Very nice tonal range...

Rod, I've read your praise for Obsidian aqua here and elsewhere and it looks promising. But could it be used in rotary processing?

BTW, I agree that fomapan 200 is nice in Rodinal, for alt process purposes I develop it in Moersch Tanol - it's excellent! Even better than Pyrocat HD in MY eyes.
