I've been selling red laser glasses for years, but just now decided to carry a pair into the field for previewing shots. These are quite deep, about like a 29 red, but in principle help quickly perceive shadows and texture for any minus-blue filter (other than green filters). I found these allowed me to establish a tripod position much more quickly than just looking thru a handheld filter. This is important for me because shadows
can shift their position and pattern so fast. Guess someone could also keep a pair of glasses from a 3D movie and squint thru one eye at a time;
but I've never been to one of those.

These are like sunglasses with deep red lenses, which make a red laser beam much easier to see at distance. A common surveyor or builder's amenity. The Stabila
ones we sell here are only around fourteen bucks; but there are other varieties. I like them so well, think I'll keep a pair in each camera kit.

I think the Leica ones look pretty nice - for $35.00 you'll look like Bono...

It will be very cool to wear a pair of this kind of glasses and take LF in any places.
