SFBay - Joshua Tree Carpool?

Is anyone from the Bay Area driving down to Joshua Tree at the end of the month? I've been thinking of going but I'm not sure I want to schlep all my camping gear and my 8x10 onto an airplane (and we're currently a 1 car family) so I'm interested in finding someone who'd like to carpool in return for sharing any gas and toll expenses. Dean, if you should show up at Lindberg Field in San Diego Saturday morning early, you can ride with us. We will most likely stay at a flea ridden motel in JT or 23 1/3 Palms Saturday (I'd rather camp but I'm not driving) night and be back in SD by 6 or 7 pm Sunday night. 619-222-0801. James

Thanks James! I punted on the Joshua Tree idea and decided to try Chuck Farmer's Death Valley workshop the week after instead (got a 15mos old in the house, can only disappear for so many workshops in a month. :-)) I'll post a report here after I get back.
