I ordered a XL F64 a few days ago, but it turned out to be bigger than my back.
returned it and went to BH today, saw the L size of F64 backpack. very disappointed by the fact that it doesn't have laptop component.

I can't leave my 15in laptop alone. So, i m here seeking for recommendations.

I have a Lowepro 350 AW Runner which has a laptop compartment and will carry a 4x5 and several lens. It's now discontinued but replaced with the 450AW Runner which weigh ~ 2lbs more. The Lowepro 600 AW Trekker is way overkill for a 4x5 but the 400AW Trekker will work. I have all three and use the 350 for 35mm, 6x45, and lightweight 4x5 kit where I can use a Series 0 Gitzo instead of the heavier Series 3; the 400 is used for heavier MF (6x7 Pentax) and technical field (Toyo 45AX) both of which require the heavier series 3 tripod; and the 600 for 8x10 field (Toyo MII). All three backpacks have a laptop compartment but nowadays I pack a tablet instead.

The 350 and possibly the 400 are airline carry on.

Think Tank StreetWalker Hard Drive is a great pack. I never owned that version, but it has a compartment for a 15" MacBook. I had the size down and ccould easily fit my Speed, plus 2 lenses and 4 Grafmatics.

Think tank has a few larger sized bags with Laptop compartments. I've never owned any other brand, so I don't know how they compare, but I swear by them. I own 5 of their bags now :D
