I just found in the back of my freezer---maybe 13 or 14 years old?
Tura "made in Germany" VC B&W RC Matte, the original price tag:$9.99 for 25 sheets of 8x10
I'm going to see if the stuff is still good.

With that headline we were hoping for a stash of Ektalure or Portriga.

Been there, but the pleasant discovery was offset by two pounds of thoroughly freezer burned top sirloin behind it.

Have 6 unopened boxes of Portriga Rapid G2 PRN 111, and G2 Oriental Seagull. Been frozen for some 20 or so years. The Seagull is very usable with just a little fog. Ordered some BTZ from Photog Formulary. Hopefully there will be some mixing instructions with it. Have any of you used it on old paper? L

Well, it there was a lot of fog so I tossed it. No great loss though.

How well does that paper hold up?

I have some undated and unknown, that is continuing to age...

The last time I used Agfa Brovira was 1977. Can you tell us what the label says?

On fogged, old paper: you might consider to use it for Lith printing, should you like that process. I have been given quite some Kentmere Kentona FB (grade is not important with Lith printing I believe) which happily fogs also at -20degC, it's now at a Zone V without exposure after development, but it still works adequately (ie at a very long development time, >20 min. with exhausted developer it starts to fog).

Best,

Cor
