Thanks. I'm pretty sure. I was looking for someone's wedding pics from a long time ago, and I found this folder labeled "Nikon Scans". I had a Nikon Coolscan V for awhile. It only scanned 35mm film. My guess is that this is 35mm Technical Pan, but I won't know for sure unless I find the negative.

The woman flashed so quickly, I almost missed it, her boyfriend growled

1975 I was shooting a D70 with 2 Hot Light Totas

It was a fashion shoot in my new studio. I had no experience

The goal was an 11x14 portfolio for a new fashion designer

Made 1 from this shoot with pro prints, I charged her cost of prints $120. Then she promptly LOST it and she didn't want to pay for another. She paid...and never talked to me again

This was the best model, but she was the makeup person. I talked her into modeling as she was far better

I lost all the files and copied this today from an 8x10 print made back then on a Epson Art printer

This is my old portrait lighting scheme, scaled down as my giant softboxes will not work in this new space. Here this is the scaled down version, much more power for the larger format as an obvious upside.

I am looking at F32 or so very useable starting place for the larger format. I shot some tests on 70mm Rollei 400S, Plus-X original good stuff, and WL Surveillance film. Also through Plaubel Makiflex Kodak TMax100, in an earlier 6x6 Linhof Rollex back, and also TMX100 4x5 Kodak Readyload in a Polaroid 545 Back. Should be juicy in 9x9cm on 4x5 TMAX 100. Planning to process a lot of this in 1:1 Kodak D23 used one shot. Simply sulphite and Metol.

Used my Kern Arau 210mm F9 Apo-Repro for the Automatic Makiflex shoot.

BTW I've named my model "Shirley" :)

Then came Teloiv, his mate, she held a flashing crystal ball and screamed at passerby in my voice, motion sensor.

I cut off his head at an outdoor rock show. It was street legal and I rode it a bit.

My niece, Fuji Provia converted to black and white. This was a roll of Provia that was in the camera for several years before I rediscovered it and decided to shoot it. The first two frames which I figure were out of the cartridge had a strong green yellow cast. The rest of the the film look fine. Anyway like the results when converted although I wish I had move the cup out of the frame.

Thank you! The strobe is turned down to lowest power and is shining from my left shoulder. The continuous light is low and to the right, dirscted at the backdrop only so as to soften any shadow that would come from the strobe. The hanging sheet is only 6-12" behind the subject's head, so it could easily pick up a harsh shadow. I guess Pippa's pupils show the ambient light of our kitchen, and don't have time to react to the strobe. The continuous light doesn't shine on her face at all.

My standard portrait setup from thirty years ago. A Chimera 4x6 foot soft box ninety degrees to the set, acting as a fill light. Main light is Chimera 3x4 foot soft box set at 45 degrees, one stop brighter than the fill. A reflective white 4x8 foot foam core panel set at 45 right. This is a handheld grab shot with my trusty Mamiya C33 with 105mm lens. Fuji 400 220 custom 8x10 machine print from my pro lab.

Muslin background is an OMNI and my preferred higher key muslin. I was the grand prize raffle winner at the Professional Photographers of Ohio trade show, and this background was my prize. Used it quite a bit. Usually I would find that the first exposure was often the best. Not always but often. I love the little curled finger, very fresh and spontaneous
