Nice !

You might want to check the links connected to the bigger colour images, most of the smaller images lead to the same bigger one..

Best,

Cor

That's great, you've inspired me to use my 4x10 cut dark slide more!

You've also reminded me about how to view an image at this ratio and how to sort of seek it out in terms of image quality, thank you.

May I ask you what lens you used for some of those wide landscape ocean view images?

Very nice. You will fall in love with 4x10. It's my main format now for about 6 years.

Nice, and I know your locations, except that tree, which is most likely in LP.

It is a nice format and camera.

Cor, thanks... links fixed!
Stone, I typically carry SK SS 150mm XL, Rodie AS 210 W & SK 305 G-Claron I also have the SS 110 XL, but it may be too wide for me.
Randy, the tree is in Proksa Park in Berwyn... not too far from OP. We've been down here since we left Logan Sq in '05

Thx, CB

Cool, does the Rodenstock 210 cover 8x10 as well?

I'll take that 110 XL off your hands ;)

Actually probably not at the price you'll probably want for it, I agree it is very wide.

Thanks for the info!

The 210 is an Apo-Sironar "W" the W designating it for wide with 8x10 coverage. So, yep. I don't se them very often. The 110 is Mint, came from Austria and I paid $1600 for it... I think I'll be holding onto it ;)

I know this thread isn't about me or my camera, but I thought you'd get a kick out of seeing it out being used yesterday. Canham 8x10 with 4x10 reducing back, Antelope Island, Great Salt Lake, Utah. I use a compliment of G-claron lenses and a few old Petzval's with it.

I like the view of the 210mm on the GG. I also carry a 120mm and a 300mm.

I hope you also took a shot with the view camera from this perspective, the lines of the walkways are excellent.

Good choice, thanks, I ended up with a 210mm graphic-Kowa, it's purported to be the earlier version which I'm told has a different set of elements and will cover 11x14 with slight wiggle room at Infiniti, but I have yet to test that in the real world, I hope that it's true because I spent a lot on this one, and the ones that were the later version that only cover 8x10 are 1/3 the price I spent! ($900).

I'm happy enough with the 150 SS XL and though I have no center filter, I think I'll be ok, ($1,600).

I really have no clue if I overspent or got a deal or broke even, if the 210 is as sharp even at corners as it should be on 11x14 it will be fine with me, but if it's unsharp even on 8x10 then I'll be bummed.

I wish they made a fujinon 200 C that coveted 8x10 and a fujinon C bigger than 600 that was "compact" it really would have been the ultimate for me.

180 is too wide and 210 is just under what I like, 200 is closer to 90 on 4x5 which I prefer. Alas....

Anyway I'm "reminiscing".

Your project looks wonderful and thanks for sharing the details.
