Linhof Color Kardan S & Linhof Panorama Tripod

Yesterday I came across a Linhof Color Kardan S - serial no. 6741683 - complete with a Linhof Panorama tripod - twin shank profile #003333. The camera was in mint condition, had a Technika adapter lens board and a 180mm Rodenstock Sironar lens. It was beautiful, I bought it (I own a Technika and the lensboard interchangeabilty sealed it). Can anyone tell me anything about this camera? How old it might be? When was production stopped? If there's any information, etc. available on the internet regarding it? The camera controls are pretty straight forward but the tripod workings, especially the rings at the tripod head are not clear to me as yet. I bought it to leave set up in my small basement 'studio'. I really can't say enough about the quality of the machining and the fit and finish. It looks like this equipment was built to last forever.

Well we have a problem.
1: The Kardan Color S never had a 6,xxx,xxx serial number
2: There was a Kardan Super Color ST with a fixed bellows
3: There was a Kardan ST-E

The ST-E was made in 1985.
The ST was made from 1981-85
The Kardan Color S was made from 1970 to 75.

Why not post a picture to see if we can be more specific.
