Several months ago I posted a request for information on holding a cable release onto an old Copal 00 shutter. I have finally found a solution that was simple and cheap. I mounted a cord lock from an old coat on to the lensboard. By pushing it down I can insert the cable release and it is held in securely. If anyone is really interested, email me and I can send you a photo. Wished I could attach it here.
