How well do you think the rear standard locks down?
rubber bands?
mdf?
the parts of the back that stick way out on the pic showing a spring back look like trouble.
I'd stay clear of it.

Thanks for the other link. Before I'd seen the photos I thought Vinny's comments above sounded a bit harsh, but now I see his point. It reminds me of IKEA.

sporty looking, the bed though almost looks like plywood

Looks like its made from pressboard to me. Kind of reminds my of a DIY camera.

You might want to look though the DIY section here before claiming this flat-pack camera looks like a DIY. There are many, many DIY cameras here that sh#t all over this camera.

The plate holders look interesting---but expensive though. 145 euros for a singe side for 8x10 seems a bit excessive, but kudos to them!

It's mdf. Get it wet, see what happens.
His other models at least have some sort of geared focus mechanism. Not having it makes it un-usable in my book.

Some are in birch plywood, some in MDF!
I will not trust MDF for folding camera with many small mechanisms. Maybe for pinhole box.
Not sure about using MDF outside with our winter climate! I remember Vinny's picture with his Wehman full of snow!
