Sekonic L-558 vs L-608?

I am currently trying to decide on a good spot meter for all my camera systems. And so far i have settled on the Sekonic L558 spot meter. Well as it happens, i was browsing ebay again to find one used, and there i came across the L608, it seams almost identical, although it seems older, as well as having a variable field of view.

So, not knowing anymore which one i should go for, i decided to as the question here.

also the l558 i found and the l608 are about the same price, give or take a few bucks.

I have no experience with the L-608 but I do use an L 558. In my world is was expensive but it's great and I'm not sorry that I bought it. It does everything I need it to do.
