What's the difference between these models?
Thanks.

DX has rear shift, DXII does not. DXIII is like DX, but adds interchangeable bellows. I *think* DX and DXII have been offered in either cherrywood or rosewood, DXIII only in rosewood. DXIII is the heaviest and most expensive model.

Doesn't the DXIII have a Graflok back? I found this @ Mid-West, a DXIII w/ Graflok made of cherry. No photo of camera though. http://mpex.com/wista-45dx-iii-cherry-woodfield-w-graflok-back.html

Yes. I'd forgotten, thanks for catching this. DX and DXII backs open wide and use the Wista slide-in rollholders with the "butterfly wings" to protect the GG. If you don't mind the price you can get the Graflok back as an accessory, though:

Cherry has not been available for some time. They now use quince wood.

DX quince, rosewood or ebony; 16mm back shift; Graphic type back
DX II rosewood; 0 back shift; Graphic back
DX III quince; 16mm back shift; Graflock back (no longer in factory price list)
SW rosewood; interchangeable bellows; 16mm back shift; Graphic back
SW III quince; interchangeable bellows; 16mm back shift; Graflock back (no longer in factory price list)

Other wood types on older models are available used.

Really not "wings" Simply a metal plate on the top of the hump of the back so the gg does not get scratched by coming into contact with the back as it slides in or out or rests on it.
Graflok back is attached by gluing it in place on the camera with the tube of glue supplied with the back. It adds significant weight to the body.
