Hello,
What is the optimal temperature and humidity for storing lenses?
I "broke out" my LF lenses, and find one with fungus.
Granted, it's an old brass barrel lens, could be 80+ years old.
Though, I think proper storage could have prevented this.

You are right, proper storage most likely would have prevented it. However I doubt very much that it happened since you bought it.

A lens can be stored at pretty much any temperature we can survive at.
However they can't really handle much moisture.
With that in mind I have never heard of anyone having a fungus problem when they allowed all their equipment to completely dry before packing it away. When I have seen issues the case it was stored in have always been moldy.

I have heard some people say you should never store a lens with fungus on with clean lenses. Otherwise the problem can spread. However I have never seen it.
