Hi,

I bought a Crown Graphic with 135 4.7 Schneider lens. It seems to be in good shape.
I'm looking for someone in my area (I have a studio in Denver and live in Westminster, Colorado)
to go over basic camera use. I also think the rangefinder is a little off. If you can help me
adjust it (top mounted rangefinder) that would be great.

I know there are manuals, etc. on the web, but I think it will make a lot more
sense to me if someone, who is patient and knows this camera well, helps me in person.
Also I am not very mechanical minded and would rather not try to adjust the camera myself.

I have experience with a Cambo studio camera, so I don't need help loading film, etc.
Just checking the Crown camera out, going over basic use
and making an adjustment of the rangefinder. Probably an hour or two?

I am willing to compensate you for your time. Let me know where we can meet
and about what you would charge.

Thanks
Allan

Allan, I can help with everything except the rangefinder (I hate rangefinders).

Crowns can be a bit goofy. For example, they are not set to focus at infinity with the rails fully retracted. You have to advance the rails about 1/8th of an inch and lock them there to focus at infinity. Your infinity stops may be off, also. If so, that's a much easier fix than fiddling with the rangefinder.
