View Full Version : Using Schneider 125mm Radionars from a Norma/Polaroid Passport set?

This sinar lens board with 4 fixed aperture (F8) Schneider Radionar 125 mm lenses was the least useful part of a Norma "expert" (4x5/9x12) set I collected this weekend!
It must have been used for making 4 identical Polaroid shots for passport and other identity cards.

Anyway, I was thinking about using them as pairs as I have a number of mono/stereo tailbord cameras which I would like to try out - without the expenditure involved in real contemporary lenses!

Anybody have any idea about how well matched these lens sets are/were?

I note they they have a colour code spot - from the top left (clockwise) red, green, yellow and white. I suppose this must have something to do with the position on the board and may be a parallex correction to give identical mug shots?

Couldn't find a answer in the sinar catalogues?
