Hello
Does anyone actually know what is this Xenar Typ. D.
I have read several claims, about it being a triplet or reverse tessar.
Ok, it is a reversed tessar... but I notices that so is my regular 150/3.5 Xenar. Air spaced pair is on the rear on both of these lenses. The only difference i see whit my Typ. D Xenar 150/3.5 is that the rear element diameter is larger in the Typ. D.
Maybe it just means it has a larger coverage?
EDIT.
Ok, it seem it is a triplet. I was fooled by the front element, as it looked identical.. but only one element in the Typ.D. And two cemented elements on regular Xenar. Also learned that older Xenars are reversed design.
