Using Fuji Crystal Archive for BW?

I came across someone selling BW prints that were made using Fuji Crystal Archive. Is there a reason someone would use color paper for BW? I don't think they were toned, just plain BW.

a number of people have been doing this for some time, primarily because there were no B&W materials available for Lightjet output, which they preferred. David Fokos for example.
Now there are some viable options.
