Apologies for posting a question for which the answer seems as though it ought to be easy to find, but I'm afraid my google-fu has failed me today - all I can find is people talking about whether something feels lighter than something else. Can anyone tell me weights - actual numbers - for either the 2x3 Century Graphic, the 2x3 Crown Graphic, or both?

Hey Oren, I've got two Century Graphics, one with a rangefinder and one without. I also have both the sheet film and roll film backs. Weighs to follow shortly, unless someone beats me to it.

Oren, I just measured. Both cameras with Graflok back and complete focusing panel, Kalart and tubular viewfinder and without lens board. 2x3 Crown, 1,343 g; Century, 1,376. The Century has a leather strap over the standard thin plastic, the Crown has only the thin plastic. The Crown's front shutter release (cable, mechanism on front standard) has been removed.

For all practical purposes they weigh the same.

Here are my numbers for my Century Graphics.

For the model without the rangefinder and with a 103mm f4.5 Graftar in a Century Synchromatic shutter the weight is 1300 gr. with the sheet film back and 1490 gr. with a "23" Graphic rollfilm back loaded with film.

For the model with the rangefinder and a 101mm f4.5 Wollensak Velostigmat in a Rapax shutter the weight is 1500 gr. with the sheetfilm back and 1700 gr. with the "23" Graphic rollfilm back loaded with film.

Both cameras have a plastic hand strap and the top mounter viewfinder.

2x3 Crown Century with the Graftar 103 mm, top vf and side Kalart and the rollfilm back (no film)
3 pound 13 oz = 61 oz * 28.35 = 1729 gram
The gg back is 6 oz = 170 g
