View Full Version : Richcolor film dryer cabinet

Hi,,I recently picked up a Richcolor film dryer 4162D. it has a heating element and fan at the top and vent at the bottom. The vent at the bottom has a filter but there's not one on the top..Was wondering ware to get these filters or what can i use for a filter for the top..Allso does anyone have a link to the users manual for this unit?

Try Home Depot or you can always get one custom made through an A/C supplier. Otherwise, improvise......

Something doesn't seem right. The air flow should be thru the filter, then over the heater then to the film area. If the filter is at the bottom the fan would either draw filtered air in past the film and out over the heater or unfiltered air over the heater and down. Check the air flow direction. On the cabinet I have (different make) the filter is on top then the heater then the fan. The filter is a standard furnace filter from home depot.
