Just got one off ebay, lovely lens with nice coating. Aperture range is f/8 - f/45...but when opened up to f/8 it is obvious that there is a built in stop inside the lens to prevent the aperture from opening past f/8, the stated max aperture. But it looks like if one could remove the stop, the aperture could open up another two stops or so. Anyone have experience with this lens, or know how one might go about modifying it so the aperture will open all the way.
