Hi folks, just thought I'd introduce my self, good manners an all.

I'm currently trying to weigh up my options to get started with a 5x4 and try it out with out having to sell my much loved RB67 if I find I don't get on with the bigger gear.

Definitely keep the RB67 [I've got a Rollei], 'loved' cameras are like hen's teeth.

I started with a relatively inexpensive Graphlex, tray developing,
and hanging sheets in the bathroom. Keep an eye on the local lists,
probably even a local meetup or camera club with someone with
an excess camera...

Love Edinburgh, was there for almost a week,

-Tim

Cheers Tim, not sure I can justify one fairly slow camera and a very slow camera but I'll see how it goes.

Hi Steveo and welcome to the forum. I've been to Edinburgh many times (my dad's from Invergordon). I also have RB67 outfit and still use it. I almost sold it a few years ago and very glad I didn't.

Hello Steveo and welcome to the forum. I used to own an RZ outfit and loved it. I sold it to get into large format and have no regrets but that's me. Keep the RB if you can until you learn large format. Then you can make an educated decision about what you want to do.
