The Mordancage process.

I learned from Craig Stevens. You can contact him via email at Savannah College of Art and Design. He has a lot of documentation on the process.

She sometimes teaches workshops - I took one with her at f295 a couple of years ago.
There's also info at www.alternativephotography.com but I highly recommend finding a workshop as there's a fair amount of the process that's easier if you see it rather than just reading a recipe.

If you are thinking about trying it, I strongly recommend that you learn from someone who is good at it. I don't have access to anyone out in So Cal and have been fumbling along trying to figure it out for myself. You will find it very unpredictable and frustrating at first and you will have a lot of throw aways. However, with the right image, you can create very special images. I have really only had one real "success" so far. Note - contrary to what this looks like, my model wasn't wearing anything in this image. The "drape" affect was created by her being in shadow in this image.
